Terms of Service

Last updated: August 11, 2026

1. The service

Ringside answers phone calls on your behalf using an automated voice assistant. It greets callers, asks what they need, judges how urgent it is, books appointments on your connected calendar, records and transcribes the call, and texts you the lead. You choose whether it answers everything or only calls you miss.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us — hours, service area, fees and what the assistant may and may not say.
  • You must have the right to forward or point the phone number you connect to Ringside.
  • You are responsible for honoring the appointments Ringside books on your calendar.
  • You may not use Ringside for unlawful, deceptive or harassing calling.

3. Call recording

Calls are recorded and transcribed, and callers are told so at the start of the call. You are responsible for complying with any additional recording or notice requirements that apply where you operate.

4. Billing

  • Ringside is billed monthly in advance at $397/month, plus a one-time $400 setup fee.
  • The one-time setup fee covers onboarding, prompt writing, and testing.
  • Billing begins when your account goes live and renews on the same day each month until you cancel.
  • No contract — cancel anytime. New accounts have a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first month's fees.
  • Fees are non-refundable for partial months except where required by law.
  • We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing your price.

5. Cancellation

There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Email or call us and we'll stop billing at the end of your current period and hand your number back the way you want it. We may suspend or end service for non-payment or misuse, with notice where practical.

6. Emergencies — important

Ringside is not an emergency service. When a caller describes a gas smell, a carbon monoxide alarm, active flooding or a similar danger, the assistant tells them to hang up and call 911 and alerts you — it will not book that call as a routine appointment. You should not rely on Ringside as the only way emergencies reach you.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep the service up, but it depends on phone carriers, calendar providers, messaging providers and internet infrastructure we do not control. We do not promise uninterrupted service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ringside is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, missed jobs, missed calls, mis-booked appointments or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change we'll tell you by email and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
